Audiovisual Producers' Association (APA) was founded in 1994. It associates producers and production companies both in the sphere of the Czech film, film service and promotion. APA has currently over sixty members who associate in two sections. The main activity of the Association is a protection and promotion of producers' interests, dealing with professional associations, with protective authors' organisations or with bodies of the state administration.
