WHO WE ARE

• Audiovisual Producers' Association (APA) was founded in 1994. It associates producers and production companies both in the sphere of the Czech film, film service and promotion.

ACTIVITY

• The main activity of the Association is a protection and promotion of producers' interests, dealing with professional associations, with protective authors' organisations or with bodies of the state administration. The Association also co-operates in solving legal and tax issues related to film production and it takes part in creating legislative norms in this sphere.

STRUCTURE AND BODIES

• APA has currently sixty two members who associate in two sections. The top body of the association is a six-member board.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

• The Association of producers is a member of international producer organisations - FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) (www.fiapf.org) and CFP-E (Commercial Film Producers of Europe) (www.cfp-e.com).
