ABOUT ASSOCIATION

WHO WE ARE

Audiovisual Producers' Association (APA) was founded in 1994. It associates producers and production companies both in the sphere of the Czech film, film service and promotion.

ACTIVITY

The main activity of the Association is a protection and promotion of producers' interests, dealing with professional associations, with protective authors' organisations or with bodies of the state administration. The Association also co-operates in solving legal and tax issues related to film production and it takes part in creating legislative norms in this sphere.

STRUCTURE AND BODIES

APA has currently sixty two members who associate in two sections. The top body of the association is a six-member board.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

The Association of producers is a member of international producer organisations - FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) (www.fiapf.org) and CFP-E (Commercial Film Producers of Europe) (www.cfp-e.com).
