MEDIA Desk Czech Republic is the representation of the EU MEDIA Programmes in the Czech Republic. The office was opened in January 2002 and its main task is to supply information about the possibilities of financal support offered within the MEDIA Programmes. The office works under the auspices of the Czech Chamber of Film (a benefitiary society, which was founded on the initiative of the Audiovisual producers´Association, Film Distributors Union and Asociation of Cinema Managers). The office costs are covered by the Czech Ministry of Culture and by the EU.
